Key Information
  • Active Ingredients: After reconstitution, each 5 ml of the oral suspension contains Amoxicillin Trihydrate equivalent to 200 mg Amoxicillin and Diluted Potassium Clavulanate equivalent to 50 mg Clavulanic Acid. The total amount in the 30ml is 3g of Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid.
  • Target Species: It is for dogs and cats and is not suitable for small mammals like rabbits or rodents.
  • Therapeutic Use: Beetapet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against bacterial infections, but not viral ones.
  • Indications/Uses: It is used for skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections (especially in cats), and periodontal infections. 
Dosage and Administration
  • Dosage: The recommended dosage is typically 12.5 mg/kg body weight twice daily after reconstitution.
  • Administration: Administer orally, either directly or mixed with a small amount of food.
  • Reconstitution: The dry powder is mixed with the provided sterile water up to the ring mark on the bottle, shaking vigorously after adding the water.
  • Storage: Store dry powder in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Once reconstituted, store the suspension in the refrigerator (2-8°C) for up to 7 days, after which any unused portion should be discarded.
  • Precautions: This is a prescription medicine and should only be used under the direction of a veterinarian. Complete the full course of treatment to prevent bacterial resistance.
