Description
Uses:
-Treats and prevents flea infestations, killing fleas before they lay eggs and breaking the flea life cycle.
-Treats and controls tick infestations from various species, including Lonestar, Gulf Coast, American dog, black-legged (which can transmit Lyme disease), brown dog, and Asian longhorned ticks.
-Can also be used for the treatment of sarcoptic mange and demodicosis, according to the European Commission.
Dosage and administration
Administer orally once a month as a liver-flavored chewable tablet.
The recommended minimum dosage is 0.91 mg/lb (2 mg/kg) body weight.
Can be given with or without food.
Ensure the dog consumes the entire tablet, observing them for a few minutes after administration.
If a dose is missed, administer it as soon as possible and resume the monthly dosing schedule.
It’s generally recommended for dogs 6 months of age and older.
