Tikkil Power is an ectoparasiticide that contains Cypermethrin high Cis 10% w/w. It is used for the control of flies, ticks, lice, mites, scabies, and mange mites in cattle, horses, sheep, and dogs. It can also be used to control blowfly larvae and headflies in sheep, as well as mites in poultry.

Description
Mechanism of Action:
Tikkil Power works by affecting the sodium channels in the parasite’s nerve axons, leading to initial excitement and then paralysis.
Indications for use in cattle:
Tikkil is indicated for the control of various ectoparasites in cattle including:
Flies
Biting Lice
Ticks
Scabies
Mange Mites
Dosage and administration for cattle:
Tikkil is mixed with water and sprayed on the animal.
Backline spray: 5 gm per 0.5 liter of water per animal.
Whole body spray or dip: 1 gm per liter of water.
Precautions and warnings:
To avoid issues, avoid treating lambs less than one week old or during hot weather and do not apply to the tail region of lambs. It is important to wash udders of sprayed animals before milking and only apply to unbroken lesions. Take care to avoid contact with concentrate and emulsion, and do not breathe spray mist. When treating, wear protective clothing and avoid eating, drinking, or smoking. If accidental ingestion occurs, seek medical attention. Avoid treating ill, weak, exhausted, or thirsty animals. Keep the product away from children, pets, foodstuff, heat, and open flames. Do not spray on feed or feed bags and properly dispose of empty sachets/ pouches.
Withdrawal period: The period before which products from the animal should not be used as human food.
The withdrawal period before milking is negligible, while the withdrawal period for meat is 3 days before slaughter.

I used this Tikkil Power liquid for my dog, and the results were excellent. It works effectively on ticks present on the body (on the head-neck joint, on the middle back, on the hip joint & on toes). After applying it gently (one drop), I noticed ticks starting to fall off within a short time (2 times a month).
The liquid is easy to apply and spreads well on the skin. It did not cause any irritation or discomfort to my dog. Scratching reduced quickly, and my pet felt much more comfortable.
I also like that it has a mild smell and doesn’t feel too harsh. It keeps ticks under control and helps maintain hygiene.
Highly recommended for pet parents looking for a safe and effective tick control solution.
