Indian dogs are still living in a colonized country, because even today children’s minds are filled with colonial mentality and preference for foreign breeds. See here, my 6-month-old desi puppy wasn’t shown any affection, but the foreign Beagle got ‘so cute!’ remark, while the desi pup got got a question ‘does it bark?’ What my camera couldn’t capture was that after I challenged the word ‘bark,’ the girl said, ‘No, I meant, does it bite?’ In other words, they’ve been taught that when a desi dog barks, it means ‘it bites,’ but when a foreign dog barks, it’s considered ‘music.’ Mera Bharat Mahaan (My India is Great)!
