Indian dogs are still living in a colonized country, because even today childrenâs minds are filled with colonial mentality and preference for foreign breeds. See here, my 6-month-old desi puppy wasnât shown any affection, but the foreign Beagle got âso cute!â remark, while the desi pup got got a question âdoes it bark?â
What my camera couldnât capture was that after I challenged the word âbark,â the girl said, âNo, I meant, does it bite?â
In other words, theyâve been taught that when a desi dog barks, it means âit bites,â but when a foreign dog barks, itâs considered âmusic.â
