What is EPI?
EPI is a condition where a pet’s pancreas does not produce enough digestive enzymes (lipase, protease, and amylase), which are necessary to break down and absorb nutrients from food. This can lead to malnutrition and a range of gastrointestinal issues.

Active ingredients: Each tablet contains a minimum of:
Lipase: 18,000 USP Units (for digesting fats)
Protease: 114,000 USP Units (for digesting proteins)
Amylase: 128,000 USP Units (for digesting carbohydrates)
Purpose: The tablets are used to treat and manage EPI in dogs and cats. By supplementing the missing enzymes, the medication helps to improve nutrient absorption, prevent weight loss, and reduce chronic digestive symptoms like diarrhea.
Symptoms of EPI: Signs that a pet may have EPI include rapid weight loss despite a good appetite, chronic diarrhea, and stools that are oily or fatty.
Dosage: The tablets are administered 15 to 20 minutes before each meal. The specific dosage depends on the pet’s size and the severity of their condition. The tablets can be given whole or crushed and mixed with food.
