Description

Pethex Shampoo is a specially formulated antiseptic cleansing shampoo for pets, containing chlorhexidine gluconate 2%. It effectively helps control bacterial and some fungal skin infections, reduces itching and irritation, and promotes healthy skin and coat. Its gentle base allows for regular use without excessively drying or irritating the skin.

?? Indications

Pethex Shampoo is recommended for use in:

-Superficial bacterial dermatitis (e.g., Staphylococcus infections)-

-Pyoderma

-Folliculitis

-Seborrheic dermatitis

-As an adjunct in the management of Malassezia (yeast) dermatitis

-Routine antiseptic cleansing for pets prone to recurrent skin infections

-Chlorhexidine gluconate IP ………. 2% w/v

-Mild cleansing base ………. q.s. to 100%

?? Method of Usage

1. Wet the coat thoroughly with clean, lukewarm water.

2. Apply sufficient quantity of Pethex Shampoo to create a rich lather.

3. Massage gently over the entire body, paying special attention to affected areas.

4. Leave the shampoo on the coat for 5?10 minutes to allow adequate contact.

5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

6. Repeat as directed by your veterinarian.

Generally, 2?3 times a week initially, then as advised (often weekly) for maintenance.
