• Function: This paste is designed to support healthy digestion, help manage diarrhea, and restore intestinal microflora balance in pets like dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. It is also suitable for use in other animals, including horses, cows, and rabbits.
• Mechanism: It contains several types of beneficial, naturally-occurring bacteria which work by preventing harmful bacteria from attaching to the intestinal wall, while good bacteria attack the harmful ones, limiting their growth naturally. This process means that harmful bacteria cannot develop resistance, which often happens with antibiotic treatments.
• Key Ingredients: According to the manufacturer’s information available on merchant sites, it contains?4.2 billion bacteria per ml, including?Lactobacillus Pediococcus,?Bacillus, and?Lactobacillus acidophilus, plus vegetable oil, lecithin, and a stabilizer (E551B).
• Usage: The paste has good taste and palatability, making it easy to administer directly to the pet’s mouth or add to their food. It is a natural product and cannot be overdosed. Dosages are typically based on body weight, with specific recommendations provided with the product.
