Self Diagnosis of Pet’s Condition using Artificial Intelligence (AI)

There are so many symptoms that your pet develops during his entire life that hold clues to what serious conditions can develop if not treated in due time. But the tragedy is that most pet parents do not recognize which symptoms or behavioral change should raise an alert. The pet cannot speak human language. Note that I didn’t say he cannot speak. He merely uses a different style of communication. His communication relies upon faint or loud vocal sounds, sudden physical action, his body language– how he walks or sits or runs or squats and his subtle changes in behaviour in day to day life.

Now, who in this world has the entire gamut of experience to decipher all his communication and understand if something is ailing him? Let me tell you, there’s not a single living person who knows it all. That’s where AI comes in! AI uses a huge and virtually infinite database of human experiences written down is various languages across the world in millions of electronic texts on the worldwide web (www in short). I use ChatGPT to self diagnose my pets BEFORE going to the Vet. So can you, because that way you can tell the symptoms to him more thoroughly. When I use ChatGPT, it asks me several questions based on my initial description of symptoms. While answering all its questions, I know exactly how I should be prepared to answer the Vet’s questions. That is to say, if at all I need to actually go to a Vet. More often than not, my long experience with small animal treatments enables my to use the AI interactions to narrow down completely on the issue at hand and undertake small do-at-home procedures to help my pets or medicate them using the medicine course suggested by AI.

Now don’t tell me that you don’t believe in AI. If you do, you must also doubt everything that science has discovered or invented or enabled humans to achieve. You must not even ride an elevator in that case. And don’t tell me you cannot learn how to use AI. If at the age of 60 I can master its use, so can you, but provided that you are good at any language of your choice and can express your observations/ questions unequivocally in words that you must take pains to write.

Being a pet parent, it’s important to observe all issues of pets very closely and diagnose it first using ChatGPT. That way you can corroborate the vet doctor’s observation or suspicion and make it possible to treat your pet correctly. Misdiagnosed ailments are causing too many deaths of pets, just because doctors may never come to know all that the pet is trying to communicate throughout the day. In the brief 5 or 10 minutes of examination or observation, no vet can diagnose correctly or fully unless you are able to report to him everything that you see throughout the day. Most vets cannot give you the time to tell such long stories. Whereas, if you have a long interaction with AI through a few days, You will have a ready summary to narrate quickly to you doctor and give him clues through what ailments you suspect. Your vet can absorb some of your suspicions and rule out some. Either way, it brings your pet much closer to a correct diagnosis.

Many less experienced vets are nowadays using ChatGPT to diagnose and prescribe medicines as well. That’s because ChatGPT is basically an interactive encyclopedia of practical and clinical observations of millions of vets across the world that are written in thousands or millions of posts at various websites. How effective is the discussion with ChatGPT? Just read the link of my interaction on a particular issue at the link https://chatgpt.com/share/6a04cbcc-665c-8324-8fd6-f12228a09aa4

You’ll see the clear question I had asked and the detailed information it churned out in 2 seconds flat. You’ll see that the AI even remembers that one of my senior dogs is epileptic and is on long term life long dosing of Levetiracetam. I had discussed that topic with ChatGPT many many months back and yet it connects quickly when I ask about use of RKleen Syrup for senior dogs.

But the caution point is that AI depends upon human intelligence and information uploaded. If you are totally unable to prepare the feed required for uploading to AI, then we are here to help. Our profile on ChatGPT is shown below. We’re ready.
